1. Tenacity Dance
These shoes are made by hand and it’s clear from the detailing and on-point stitching that these shoes will last a very long time. We found that all the stitching and materials used in the shoe were of very high quality.
The pivot point worked well, allowing us to pivot on the spot despite the rest of the sole having high gripping rubber. We felt very comfortable dancing in these shoes, even during hour long Jazzercise sessions.
The mesh upper helped our feet to stay cool and dry even in hot and steamy workout studios. What we really loved about these great jazzercise shoes is the colouring. The colours are feminine and stylish and really complimented all of our exercise clothing.
The molded heel reinforcement gave great support during landings and energetic stepping. And the strap down worked really well at locking the shoes to our feet during workouts – unlike laces which often come undone.

With a 100% polyester upper these shoes are very lightweight and breathable. The high gripping rubber sole provides ample support for quick movements and the pivot point is perfectly placed to allow you to do quick on-the-spot turns.
We loved the increased support from the EVA in the midsole. It helped give our feet a little extra rigidity and allowed us to move more on our toes very comfortably when needed. There is plenty of cushioning in the inner sole and lots of comfort built into the upper.
The medial and lateral support wraps gave our feet a feeling of increased stability and improved our agility during workouts. The all black coloring of the shoe is great as it blends in well with all of our workout gear. Bright colors really stand out, and we never have to worry about matching our shoes to our leggings and sports gear.
3. RYKA Exertion
The mesh upper on this well-made jazzercise shoe provides plenty of air flow during workouts. Our feet barely had any sweat on them after our hour long jazzercise class when we tried these shoes out.
The pivot point is slightly smaller than our top two picks which is a good and bad thing. It’s good as it gives you a little more resistance during your turns, but it also takes a bit of getting used to as you really have to be on the right spot for a fluid turn.
The RYKA Exertion is a very light weight shoe and feels great underfoot. The low profile made us feel much more comfortable during quick movements and the rubber sole provided plenty of grip on dance floors.
